Collection: Fumbling Through the Dark
Fumbling Through the Dark” is the culmination of my efforts to process my inner battles and reclaim my voice. I use the shape of a heart as a representation of myself as it is a simple and widely recognized symbol of what makes us all human and allows us to feel. With a focus on color, form, and occasionally text, I convey emotion and share a glimpse of my life experiences with the viewer in order to inspire and empower. The colors in my work range from dark and deep to evoke the pain I carry in my heart to light and playful to share my soft, feminine side. In this collection, the stories I tell and the intensity of my feelings expressed through color demonstrate the raw and honest way that I experience this world.
