About Me

I create to feel free.
My name is Ciara Andrade, and I’m a painter and mixed-media artist who builds from emotion. Through paint, clay, texture, and whatever material calls to me next, I turn feeling into something physical something you can see, touch, and connect with.
My art lives in the space between healing and expression. I’ve always painted hearts and vines maybe because my mom used to draw them, or maybe because they’ve always been my quiet symbols of growth and connection.
My Emerging from the Dark series reflects that part of me: pieces that explore renewal and softness within shadow. The green and black tones in my work hold that duality new life inside old wounds.
These days, my creative home is my living room, art studio, a tray table, or wherever inspiration lands. My process is raw, spontaneous, and honest. Sometimes I paint on canvas, sometimes on mail labels whatever calls to me in the moment because I see beauty in what already exists.
Every piece begins with a spark, that moment where I feel something electric and can’t stop until it’s out.
Art isn’t just what I make; it’s how I process, rebuild, and rediscover myself. I want you to see parts of your own story in my work, to feel something real, and make it your own.
Through Ciara Studios, I’ve created a space where all of my passions meet: painting, jewelry, and thrift flips that celebrate creativity in every form. I believe art belongs in both galleries and everyday life on your wall, in your hands, in the things you wear and live with.
At its core, my work is about transformation turning pain into beauty, stillness into movement, and vulnerability into strength.
Every piece I create is a reminder that there’s power in the process in allowing yourself to feel, to rebuild, and to grow.
I hope my art inspires you to embrace your own freedom, to create without hesitation, and to find beauty in the imperfect and in-between moments.
